Hit/Pitch Program

UBC Baseball is very pleased to announce that the Point Grey campus is now home to the Mizuno School of Baseball. The facility had its naming rights purchased by Mizuno Canada and will feature 3 full length hitting cages, 3 pitching mounds, as well as office space and video equipment for digital analysis of both hitting and pitching. The facility will be self contained and operated entirely by the UBC Baseball Coaching Staff. This will allow for high level instruction that will available to all ages and skill levels.

The Mizuno School of Baseball will be open to the public during late afternoons and evenings to allow for local teams and individuals to perfect their baseball skills with elite coaches and instructors. Sessions at the Mizuno School of Baseball will be available with UBC instruction featuring hitting and pitching lessons by the current UBC coaching staff as well as former players that are currently playing professional baseball.

FALL/WINTER/ SPRING:  HIT-PITCH PACKAGES ($250.00 per athlete)

• October – December (Once a Week for (8), One Hour Sessions)
• Any group size available up to 4 TO 1
• Includes ½ Hr Hitting and ½ Hr Pitching w/ Instructor
• Video and Biomechanical Analysis is included w/ package

Emphasis for our Fall Program will be placed on the specific mechanics for hitting and pitching. Each session, our trained instructors will work with the player in order to help him/her become a more complete hitter/pitcher. This is done through a systematic approach that includes drills, video analysis and live Batting Practice/Bullpens. Perfecting these mechanics during the off-season will allow the player to reach new heights on the field come spring. Come train with the top college and pro players in Canada!
